Retail Banking Services supports the Consumer Finance business through the development and maintenance of machine learning models, providing data-driven solutions and creating insights to enable business decision making at a strategic and tactical level.
You will be responsible for the development and management of key modelling assets within the team, with an objective to utilise state of the state art data science and statistical techniques to improve business and customer outcomes.
We are seeking people who are:
Driving value through timely delivery of industry leading machine learning and statistical models that solve defined business issues and are fully compliant with all required policies and governance.
Proactively contributing to and encouraging the sharing of knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
Have good business acumen and collaborative in nature to work with product teams, curious enough to solve data problems and courageous in positively influencing senior stakeholders
Constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex data science problems
We want to hear from you if you have:
Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in AI, machine learning and advanced data analytics with experience of leading end-to-end modelling projects that drive business value.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to details and data accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science or Engineering.
