Job Description:
Our Consumer Team at DTN provides vital weather information to millions of end users via our website and mobile apps. We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. The new hire will collaborate closely with other DevOps professionals and our backend team to optimize infrastructure, improve deployment pipelines, and maintain seamless user experiences. This role directly impacts how we deliver timely and accurate weather insights to our customers worldwide.
What you will be responsible for:
- Drive the enhancement and updates of core DTN CI/CD tools and processes to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Identify and address gaps in DevOps tools and processes, proposing and implementing improvements
- Lead the development of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for applications and shared tools
- Independently create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support bootstrapping DTN developer applications into AWS
- Contribute to the initial architecture and design of both new and legacy applications in AWS
- Participate in the evolution and expansion of architecture and DevOps standards
- Work with engineers and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, adhering to defined practices and policies
What you will bring to the role:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role
- Extensive expertise with AWS and working in high-traffic, high-availability environments, including CDN technologies
- Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or JavaScript
- experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, or Bamboo
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system errors
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly across teams.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 105,000 and PHP 165,000 monthly for the Philippines, AUD 104,000 and AUD 143,000 for Australia. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
