Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in streamlining our software development and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of our products.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and tools
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
- Implement containerization and orchestration strategies using tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and uptime
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and best practices
- Promote a culture of automation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the team
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies is advantageous
- Experience with security best practices and compliance standards is desirable
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are beneficial
