As the Senior Digital Business Analyst, you will support the Digital Product Owner, in facilitating the transformation of customer and business problems into solutions, and is responsible for translating solutions into succinct, effective documentation so that the team is engaged and aligned. You will define improvements to features and processes, assist decision-makers in gathering information to make decisions, support in quality assurance-test solutions, and effectively communicates in detail how features and processes work.

This role will support the Qantas Agency Connect platform, which is the B2B servicing platform that empowers travel agents with tools to efficiently manage customers on Qantas flights. You will work with Global Sales and Distribution for the Qantas Agency Connect Site team, to manage the information technology requirements for Travel Agency websites, as well as work on projects across the business that help deliver best-in-class servicing requirements for our indirect channels.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Digital environment
  • 1+ years of experience in, and a passion for Agile ways of working
  • Salesforce platform experience
  • Aviation or Travel Agency industry experience (will be highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding and use of modern digital frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, process mapping, flow charting, continuous improvement, test automation and others
  • Proven track record in communicating requirements both verbally and through user stories, with logical and clear acceptance criteria, that are easily understood by developers, testers and stakeholders
  • Can solve, and lead the solving of, strategic problems of high complexity
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines with an excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and is proactive with initiative and a bias for yes
  • Solid experience establishing and executing reports in a digital analytics or business intelligence (BI) tool, preferably Adobe Analytics and ability to compare data sets to deduce accurate insights
  • Robust stakeholder engagement and management skills (day-to-day interpersonal, structured workshops, etc.)
  • Well-rounded digital, application, infrastructure, mobile, UI and UX knowledge
  • Able to understand legal, regulatory and corporate stipulations and evaluate risk and articulate using technical and business language
