As a Senior Microsoft Wintel Engineer within our team, you will be responsible for developing and automating the infrastructure for building, testing, and deploying applications. By collaborating with various teams, your contributions will enhance the digital banking experience for both our customers and staff.
What you’ll do …
- Engage in the entire lifecycle of infrastructure engineering, from conceptualization to production deployment.
- Develop infrastructure solutions encompassing databases, infrastructure services, monitoring, high availability, and more.
- Design infrastructure that is highly maintainable, secure, and incorporates quality and automated testing principles.
- Advocate for and implement Lean/ Agile/ Kanban practices, methodologies, and mindsets. Foster Agile leadership.
What we’re looking for…
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Microsoft (Wintel or equivalent) platforms and applications.
- Extensive experience in operating infrastructure for high availability and continuous operations.
- Expertise in managing and supporting systems according to security baselines, such as Microsoft best practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell programming.
- Familiarity and experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing.
- Solid Software Engineering fundamentals including, Systems design, algorithmic programming and DB orchestration.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or 3+ years of industry experience in a similar senior engineering role.
