About Us
At Ordermentum, our purpose is to create a more sustainable food and beverage industry, by helping venues and suppliers trade smarter. Since launching in 2014, we've grown a massive network of 46k of your favourite cafes, restaurants, and bars (over half the venues in the country!) ordering $1.6b+ a year from over 1,000 local, wholesale suppliers.
Required experience and skills
- Has demonstrated experience building, operating and improving large-scale applications, ideally using React, Node and Typescript
- Enjoys collaborating with engineers and product managers in translating business requirements into technical solution
- Has a drive and desire to improve the reliability and scalability of our platform
- Has a growth mindset and is always looking for ways to improve
Our main tech stack is React, Typescript and Node. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with applications and containerised on EKS. We use PostgreSQL, Redis, SQS, Elasticsearch, and Kafka, with Terraform for infrastructure and Buildkite, GitHub, and Datadog for pipelines and observability. Some of our backend services are in Python to build AI-driven features that integrate with models like GPT-4 and Claude.
