We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst - Projects & Optimisation, to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide optimisation initiatives by providing robust financial insight, data validation, and performance tracking. Partnering closely with the Endeavour Group Optimisation (GO) and Procurement team and a diverse range of stakeholders across brands and departments, this role ensures initiatives are financially sound, benefits are measurable, and outcomes are clearly communicated to drive informed decision-making.

The Endeavour Go function operates across the Group to lead value creation and optimisation strategy, enabling the unlock of end-to-end value into the business. Endeavour GO are key strategic priorities for Endeavour Group, with a high level of visibility and materiality in the business.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

1. Financial Modelling, Tracking, and Analysis

  • Develop and maintain benefits tracking models, reporting tools, and financial models to ensure strong governance and accurate performance monitoring.
  • Track and analyse monthly performance of cost optimisation initiatives against targets, budgets, and approved business cases, identifying variances and providing clear, actionable explanations.
  • Critically challenge assumptions, methodologies, and benefit calculations to ensure the integrity and fairness of performance reporting.
  • Assess and support business case preparation for proposed initiatives, determining their financial viability and potential values.

 

2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple brands and functions to understand drivers, dependencies, and financial impacts.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise and tailored financial insights, performance updates, and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage competing priorities and promptly resolve requests for information and insights from business partners, demonstrating initiative and strong judgement.

3. Process and Technology Enhancement

  • Drive continuous improvement in core finance processes, reporting, cost optimisation frameworks, data quality, and benefit tracking methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency across all initiatives.
  • Leverage technology (incl. Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Tableau) to enhance existing reporting capabilities and deliver insightful and reliable data to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • 5+ years experience including month end close, management reporting and business partnering
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Commercial thinker, able to critically evaluate and solve problems
  • Self-starter who continuously improves processes and outcomes
  • Strong organisational and effective time management skills

Desirable

  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Proficient in GCP, SQL & Tableau
  • Retail / FMCG/ Hotels / Hospitality experience desired but not essential
