IDEXX is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team as a Commercial Business Partner responsible for the IDEXX Australian and New Zealand business. This role will be pivotal in driving financial strategies, providing insightful analysis, and partnering with key stakeholders to optimize business performance and drive growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

You will have passion for:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to support the decision-making process, while preparing and presenting financial reports and identifying opportunities and risks

  • Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Collaborating with business leaders to develop strategic plans and long-term financial forecasts and providing insights and recommendations to optimise revenue, cost-management, and profitability using financial modelling and scenario analysis.

  • Business Partnership: Become a trusted advisor to the cross-functional ANZ leadership team by understanding the business dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Budgeting and Performance Management: Leading the annual budget process and forecasting efforts, monitor KPI and provide insights to improve performance.

  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identifying financial risks and develop strategies, ensure compliance and conducting audits and recommending improvements.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Providing guidance and support to a team of finance professionals, as well as fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.


What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on commercial business partnering.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and implementing process improvements.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
