As a Senior Financial Accountant – Financial Reporting, you will be a senior member of the team responsible for preparation, review, risk management and control processes in relation to Financial Reporting including Head Office reporting.
This is a great opportunity to help enhance our financial reporting function, help mentor and guide junior team members and uplift the processes and controls around how this team operates.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure Financial reporting and  relevant Head Office reporting are delivered within designated timeframes and quality complied with Group policy and internal control policy and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and Group Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Policy
  • Function as the SMEs in Finance for Head office reporting related projects
  • Process improvement around Head Office reporting and financial reporting
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure successful and seamless completion of audit.
  • Monitoring, design and implementation of continuous process improvements covering external reporting

What we’re looking for

  • Accreditation with CA/CPA or equivalent, with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • A degree in a business-related discipline, with specific finance and accounting emphasis
  • Knowledge of financial reporting requirements pertaining to the Financial Services industry
  • Strong understanding of AASB and IFRS
  • Financial Reporting experience in Banking and Financial Services
