Simpro Software Group

We are a private equity-backed global SaaS company operating at pace, and our finance function is expected to move just as quickly. With operations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and the US, we operate across multiple currencies, entities, and jurisdictions. Our finance team in Australia leads the global accounting function, supporting the wider business as we continue to scale internationally.
This role is for someone who thrives in a high-accountability environment. It’s not a role for someone looking to quietly maintain the status quo. We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership, works with urgency, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when things need to get done.

Cashflow & Liquidity

Payroll & Intercompany
Process payroll journals and intercompany on-charges, ensuring accurate cross-border allocations between global entities.
Revenue & Deferred Revenue
Work closely with the AR and Systems Accounting teams on revenue recognition and deferred revenue reconciliations in line with SaaS accounting principles.
Audit Coordination
Act as a key liaison with external auditors, supporting audit queries across transactional and process areas.
Tax Support
Partner with the Global Tax Manager on indirect tax filings, reconciliations, and payments across multiple jurisdictions.
Debt & Interest Management
Manage interest calculations, payments, and rollover requirements as part of broader cashflow planning.
Process Improvement
Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial controls as the company scales.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Work closely with FP&A, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial insight and support business decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
You are someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
You’re comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
You also enjoy working as part of a global team, collaborating across time zones and navigating international accounting complexity.
