Job

We aren’t a slow-moving corporate finance team. We are a private equity-backed global SaaS company operating at pace, and our finance function is expected to move just as quickly.
With operations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and the US, we operate across multiple currencies, entities, and jurisdictions. Our finance team in Australia leads the global accounting function, supporting the wider business as we continue to scale internationally.
This role is for someone who thrives in a high-accountability environment. It’s not a role for someone looking to quietly maintain the status quo. We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership, works with urgency, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when things need to get done.
You will be part of a global finance team, reporting to the Global Accounting Director, and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and speed of our financial reporting across multiple regions.
You will also work across time zones, collaborate with international teams, and deal with cross-border transactions, multi-entity structures, and multi-currency reporting in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

Global Financial Ownership

  • Take full ownership of the trial balance and month-end close for designated entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Work across multiple international entities and currencies, ensuring financial integrity across the global group.

Transaction Integrity

  • Review and code transactions accurately to ensure financial data supports reliable management reporting and decision-making.

Cashflow & Liquidity

  • Consolidate and review weekly global cashflow forecasts, ensuring strong liquidity oversight and forward planning.

Payroll & Intercompany

  • Process payroll journals and intercompany on-charges, ensuring accurate cross-border allocations between global entities.

Revenue & Deferred Revenue

  • Work closely with the AR and Systems Accounting teams on revenue recognition and deferred revenue reconciliations in line with SaaS accounting principles.

Audit Coordination

  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors, supporting audit queries across transactional and process areas.

Tax Support

  • Partner with the Global Tax Manager on indirect tax filings, reconciliations, and payments across multiple jurisdictions.

Debt & Interest Management

  • Manage interest calculations, payments, and rollover requirements as part of broader cashflow planning.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial controls as the company scales.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with FP&A, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial insight and support business decision-making.

What You’ll Bring

You are someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.

You’re comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

You also enjoy working as part of a global team, collaborating across time zones and navigating international accounting complexity.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

  • CA/CPA qualified.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role.

  • SaaS or tech industry experience advantageous.

  • Big 4/mid-tier audit background necessary at supervisor/manager level.

  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

    What We Can Offer You

    • Novated leasing via salary packaging

    • Employee Assistance Program (24/7 confidential support on relationships, bereavement, finances)

    • Generous Parental Leave Program

    • Paid Volunteer Leave Days

    • Public Holiday Exchange Scheme

    • Talent Referral Program – get rewarded for referring a friend to join our team!

    • Casual dress and relaxed office environment

    • Fun team camaraderie and events

    • Opportunities for career progression and development

    • Diverse training & internal networking opportunities across all of our product lines
