About this roleBuild and shape the future of investing experiences by delivering high-performance, visually stunning front-end experiences that empower people to invest with confidence. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be trusted to make an impact from day one - you’ll own key parts of the product experience, from core trading flows to new growth features, directly shaping how customers interact with Stake.
You’ll have the freedom to choose how best to solve problems, implement your ideas and take technical ownership of what you build. You’ll work closely with product, design and backend teams to create intuitive, scalable and engaging interactions across web and mobile platforms.
In particular you will:
- Own and drive the technical implementation of sophisticated user interfaces in Angular and Ionic.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers and product managers to refine user stories and translate them into technical execution.
- Set the standard for high-quality, maintainable, testable front-end code and performance.
- Bring ideas to life through animation, transitions and micro-interactions that elevate the user experience.
- Play a key role in shaping our front-end architecture and shared component systems, autonomy to influence both technical direction and broader product outcomes.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve user experience across devices.
- Angular 14+, Ionic 7 (Capacitor for hybrid mobile)
- RESTful APIs
- Design system with Figma integration
- You’re experienced in Angular - you’ve built scalable front-end applications with Angular (ideally Angular 14+), or you’re an expert front-end engineer who can quickly master the framework.
- You obsess over performance and UX - you understand the nuances of performance, accessibility and responsive design.
- You keep things simple and scalable - you write clean, maintainable code and make pragmatic decisions that balance speed, quality and long-term growth.
- You thrive in cross-functional teams - you collaborate closely with engineers, designers and product managers to deliver exceptional results.
- You raise the bar for front-end quality - you advocate for best practices, push for code quality, and help others grow through mentorship.
- You lead with clarity and openness - you bring clear technical direction while staying adaptable and receptive to feedback.
- You understand the mobile experience - you’re familiar with building responsive, performant apps that run seamlessly across web and/or hybrid platforms.
- You’re motivated by impact - whether you’re deeply into finance or just curious, you’re excited by how technology can make investing more accessible to everyone.
