The role is about:
As a Senior Frontend Developer you will contribute to a secure and scalable web application by developing user-facing features that expand the platform's capabilities and support new business initiatives.
Location: Hybrid in Frankfurt Office or 100% Remote in Germany
Reporting to: Technical Lead
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend components and features using Next.js, React, and other modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs and databases.
- Work towards a launch of a new product which will generate new verticals to the company.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and performance monitoring.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and share knowledge with the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Development or Computer Science
- Experience: 5 years of experience developing high-load scalable applications
- Knowledge: Experience in the Fintech or Ecommerce industry (preferred but not mandatory).
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Next.js).
- Strong experience with testing (Unit testing, end to end testing, Jest, React testing library)
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and browser compatibility issues.
- Strong familiarity with Security practices in Frontend development.
- Strong familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and awareness of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker
- Stay informed about emerging tools and technologies to enhance the frontend capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of test automation projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
