The Role

You’re a senior engineer who is well respected by your peers, and know how to lead effectively. You find joy in making a product that users love. You love taking ownership over your work and can balance managing technical debt with improving the user’s experience / adding product features. You are interested in the newest technology and you’d like an environment where you can share your skills with like minded people on a no ego team. We’re a tech company and we have an interesting domain we work in. And we want you to join us!


This role offers a hybrid work arrangement at our Brisbane HQ or a remote option in Sydney or Melbourne, with access to our WeWork spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Be a key contributor to a number of internal and customer-facing web projects.
  • Lead the design, development, maintenance and optimisation of web applications (Vue 3, Typescript, Vite, Tailwind, Tanstack, NX Monorepo).
  • Develop and implement front-end architecture optimised for performance and long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and foster growth.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance our tech stack.
  • Lead by example, creating software the whole team can be proud of.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of building high-quality software with experience in building applications with Vue, Angular, React, and similar. Full-Stack experience is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of W3C standards and guidelines such as web accessibility, semantic web, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript Web APIs and internationalisation.
  • Expertise in frontend testing strategies and techniques (Unit, Component, Integration, E2E). We use Playwright and Vitest currently.
  • A user-centric and product first approach, aligning development, product and user experience goals
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A reliable member of the team who can be trusted to pitch in and help. Someone who will foster collaboration and is looking for a solution to every problem.
