Are you our next Senior Engineer?

We’re on the look-out for multiple Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our team(s).


As our Senior FS Engineer, you’ll join one of our existing (three at the moment, but potentially four by the time you join) teams and will join a supportive team of skilled Engineers, Product Managers and designers who value collaboration, learning, and delivering impactful solutions.


As one of our Senior FS Engineers, your opinions in product decisions will have real weight, and will ultimate impact Tracksuits product. Product development is a collaborative effort here at Tracksuit. In collaboration with the rest of the Engineering and Product Teams, you will will be one of the main contributors to the technical delivery at Tracksuit.


This role will see you innovating and collaborating with the wider team in fast-paced two-week sprints to bring cutting edge product ideas to life while flexing your tech stack knowledge.


👉 Please note — while we have listed this role as being based in our Sydney office, we are also open to Auckland applicants and this person working from our NZ office. We are open to considering people who are keen to relocate from NZ to Sydney; you will need the legal right to work permanently in AUS.

As our Senior Full Stack Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining code and developing additional features to improve the platform in line with the product roadmapping
  • Refining and scoping development work (as well as testing your own work)
  • Supporting & working closely with our Product and Design teams
  • Collaborating with the team and Team Lead to contribute to architecture and development decisions that align with the product goals and technical direction.
  • Providing technical input to support best practices, scalability, and maintainability in development
  • Building scalability into the design of all systems using approaches such as containerisation and serveless architecture where appropriate
  • Become a domain expert in the areas that your Product team is functioning in, as well as build strong relationships with your internal and external customers
  • Mentoring and supporting other engineers by sharing knowledge, best practices, and providing guidance to help strengthen the team’s technical skills and collaboration

That’s the role, who are you?

  • You’ll be an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with at least 4 years working in a similar role.
  • You’ll be an experienced programmer with strong proficiency in TypeScript and preferably one other modern programming language.
  • You are able to demonstrate a strong product mindset, and want to solve complicated problems in a dynamic business environment
  • A collaborative and thoughtful, kind team player with a growth mindset who values learning and problem-solving.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and, you’ll be motivated to contribute to and help shape Tracksuit’s collaborative culture.
  • In an ideal world, you will have basic understanding of why good branding is critical to business’ success (and why it’s important to track, i.e. why Tracksuit exists!)
