Who we are?

InfoTrack is a leading SaaS technology innovator that is helping a range of professionals, businesses and individuals in a digital age. We care about what we do and the people we work with. We partner with our clients to identify their challenges and constantly look for ways to evolve our products to maximise their impact.

The Role

This key role supports the Group’s Australian and New Zealand tax obligations, while contributing to broader global tax initiatives. The successful candidate will take ownership of core compliance and reporting processes, assist with tax advisory and structuring matters, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Group’s tax governance framework.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional seeking meaningful in-house exposure within a complex, growing multinational technology group.

About you

You’re a high-calibre tax professional with a strong corporate tax foundation. You have hands-on experience preparing corporate income tax returns, managing tax effect accounting (including deferred tax), and supporting year-end audits. Exposure to indirect taxes such as GST or FBT is a plus.

You’re confident working autonomously, but you’re not afraid to ask questions or seek clarity when needed. You thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage Australian and New Zealand corporate income tax and indirect tax compliance, including tax consolidated groups, GST, BAS, FBT and R&D incentives.
  • Prepare tax effect accounting, current and deferred tax balances, journals, ETR reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Support year-end external audits and manage engagement with revenue authorities, including the ATO and Inland Revenue (NZ).
  • Provide tax advisory support on restructures, acquisitions, disposals, financing arrangements and integration of new entities.
  • Assist with international tax and transfer pricing matters, including cross-border tax issues and liaison with offshore teams and advisors.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tax processes, data integrity and automation, partnering with finance and systems teams (e.g. NetSuite, Tableau).

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline. Postgraduate tax qualification (e.g. Master of Taxation) is advantageous.
  • 4+ years’ corporate tax experience gained in a Big 4 or a large in-house tax function.
  • Strong experience in Australian corporate income tax compliance and tax effect accounting under AASB/IFRS.
  • Experience with tax consolidated groups highly regarded.
  • Exposure to New Zealand tax and/or international tax matters is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and communicate them clearly to non-tax stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and operate autonomously while collaborating across functions.
