As the first HR team member on the ground, you'll play a key role in shaping and building local HR processes, supporting employees, and helping us create a strong foundation for the Aarhus office. While you'll be part of a small local team, you'll also be closely connected to our wider People team based in Amsterdam, working collaboratively to align with our overall HR strategy, culture and processes.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who wants to deepen their expertise and take full ownership of their work in an ambitious yet informal environment. From day one, you will have the opportunity to take initiative, lead projects, and develop or refine processes. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a strong team spirit. Additionally, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a diverse group of smart people in a fast-paced environment.
Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned with the best market practices

  • Coordinate logistics around expat hires
  • Manage and maintain all employee files, digital library and records
  • HR data management (data entry in Workday)
  • Assist in Benefits administration
  • Provide a high level of service to employees for all general HR issues
  • Coordinate Immigration cases and records including maintain documentation and case progression
  • Help oversee office operations in Aarhus until an Office Manager joins the team
  • Ad-hoc (local and global) projects as assigned.

Your skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor in a relevant field (Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably within an international, tech driven, preferably in a scale-up environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation in Denmark
  • Comfortable working with high standards in a dynamic and flat organization
  • Hands on mentality, able to prioritize, plan and use time effectively
  • Critical, with an eye for detail, though pragmatic
  • Great stakeholder management skills and team player
  • Autonomous with a driven, tenacious and outcome focused mentality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish
  • Adaptability in adjusting to rapidly changing environment and course of action.
