The Knowledge Management Department (KM) enables the Bank to better harness data, information, and knowledge in pursuit of its goals.
About the Role
As a Senior Information Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening the Bank’s approach to information governance and compliance. Operating across information governance, business enablement, and technology domains, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex information governance challenges, has strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills, and can independently deliver a balanced, business-centric solution supported by technical controls that reduce information risk - whether through process redesign, stakeholder engagement, Purview compliance controls, or targeted training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, planning and directing all aspects of work for a project or initiative to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realise agreed benefits.
- Designing and delivering practical solutions to reduce information exposure, including process improvements, and technical controls in MS Purview and M365 suite
- Conducting business analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve information handling practices for key processes
- Developing communication and training materials, facilitating stakeholder engagement and adoption activities, including user training, workshops and business change management efforts
- Bridging the gap between business needs, compliance requirements, and technical controls - ensuring solutions are both user-centric and policy-aligned
- Supporting information compliance across enterprise platforms
- Monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics, risks, and remediation activities
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of information handling processes
About You
You bring strong experience in information management and are looking to deepen your expertise at the intersection of business, technology, and information compliance. You’re capable in working at the intersection of business and technology, and thrive in collaborative environments.
You’ll also have:
- A solid understanding of information governance, compliance, and risk principles
- Proven experience solution delivery and business analysis across business and technology domains
- Experience in defining and implementing controls using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 compliance features, and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to adapt and prioritise in a dynamic environment
