The Role
The Investment Accounting – Real Estate team are looking for a Senior Investment Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Senior Investment Accountant will:
Assist with managing the uplift and remediation of the investment accounting, tax, product and investment operations requirements for IFM Investors as directed by the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting – Real Estate.
Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to support the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting – Real Estate in strengthening internal governance.
Assist with portfolio‑wide uplift and standardisation of investment accounting processes, reconciliations, reporting templates, and financial statement preparation.
Assist with and delivery of strategic system and process initiatives.
Coach peers and support juniors in skills development.
Your Background and Experience
Qualifications
Must have tertiary qualification in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field.
Must have CA/CPA qualifications.
May have post-graduate qualifications.
5+ years’ experience in investment accounting.
Detailed market knowledge.
Significant financial knowledge.
High level numerical skills required.
Detailed understanding of all taxation issues, accounting standards, regulations and governance requirements as they relate to IFM Investors.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Solid business acumen, financial metrics and key performance drivers.
