Lawyer/Senior Associate (4-8PQE) - Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets

The role
Working with Partners, Jonathan Algar and Stuart Byrne an exceptional opportunity exists for you to join Clayton Utz in our Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets team. We are open to considering an experienced Lawyer (4+PQE) or Senior Associate for this role.

In this role you will work on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions involving equity raisings, including IPOs, takeovers, mergers & acquisitions, and ASX listing rules, governance, strategic and board  advice, across a range of industry sectors.

You will have significant exposure to clients, playing a leading role on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations, drafting and team supervision.
 

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 4-8 years' experience post qualification experience within a distinguished corporate law practice;

  • Equity capital markets experience advantageous;

  • The ability to play a lead role on transactions and drive matters forward;

  • Strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;

  • Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; and

  • A passion for mentoring junior lawyers and providing timely feedback to aid their development.
