The Opportunity
Take your career to the next level and work on impactful and market-shaping transactions as a key team member in one of Australia’s most respected Corporate & Capital Markets practices, led by industry-leading partners Jonathan Algar and Stuart Byrne.
In this role, you will act for domestic and global clients across sectors spanning technology, fin-tech, health, financial services and retail. You will play a lead role on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, and public and private capital raisings including IPOs . You will also advise on strategic corporate matters, governance, shareholder activism and ASX listing rules.
You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, contribute to their development and help shape the future of the practice.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
4-8 years' experience post qualification experience within a distinguished corporate law practice;
Equity capital markets experience would be desirable but not essential;
The ability to play a lead role on transactions and drive matters forward;
Strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;
Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; and
A passion for mentoring junior lawyers and providing timely feedback to aid their development.
