Menlo Security is seeking a highly technical and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our growing endpoint security team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and operation of the Menlo Security Client on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You will lead a team of talented engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the full lifecycle of the Menlo Security Client on endpoints (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android), from design and development to deployment and operation.

  • Define the team's vision and strategy in alignment with the overall company strategy, collaborating closely with product managers, customers, partners, and leadership.

  • Mentor and empower engineers to achieve their professional goals and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative culture.

  • Architect, design, develop, and own new features for Menlo Security Client on endpoint (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android) , contributing significantly to Menlo's technical roadmap.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and key teams through open communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • BE/BTech or Masters in Computer Science or related field.

  • 12-15 years of hands-on software application development experience on Windows/macOS platforms.

  • 2+ years of experience leading and building high-performing engineering teams, including attracting top talent, fostering diversity, and ideally, managing global teams.

  • Solid understanding of Windows/macOS internals (threads, process and memory management), WDM drivers, and kernel mode drivers.

  • Experience with XPC, System extensions, keychain, APIs, PKI, and network security technologies and protocols.

  • Expertise in C/C++/Swift and Socket Programming on Windows/macOS.

  • Strong understanding of network and security protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, HTTPS, IPsec, DHCP/DNS, and TLS).

  • Experience implementing VPN and firewall solutions on Windows/macOS.

  • Experience building and distributing applications on Windows/macOS.

  • Proficiency in adapting and improving engineering best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong ability to learn new technologies independently.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on documentation.
