The Role


As a key member of a high-performing and innovative team, lead the company’s ESG reporting strategy, with a strong focus on climate-related disclosures. This role is integral in ensuring compliance with evolving regulations while driving continuous improvement and embedding ESG into business strategy.


This is a full time permanent position based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

  • In collaboration with Finance, lead the implementation of ASRS-aligned climate-related financial reporting, ensuring readiness for compliance by 1 July 2026.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations and Marketing & Comms to manage and deliver integrated sustainability reporting through the Sustainability and Annual Reports.
  • Oversee the development of climate transition plans, setting science-based targets and tracking performance against corporate Net Zero and decarbonization commitments.
  • Provide the Board of Directors and the Executive Team with dynamic and data-driven insights on ESG initiatives, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the Chair of the HUB24 Sustainability Council in development and execution of our sustainability strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with senior leaders and operational teams to embed ESG objectives into core business strategy and decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by developing and refining ESG policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and global best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate ESG-related risks, with a particular emphasis on climate resilience and long-term sustainability strategy.
  • Stay at the forefront of ESG trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability innovations to keep the company ahead of the curve.
  • In collaboration with Investor Relations, build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including governance firms, research firms and sustainability organisations, ensuring accurate representation of ESG data and strategy
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders internally and externally including the Board of Directors, Executive Team, Investor Relations, People & Culture, Business Unit Leaders, Finance Team, Marketing & Comms, ESG related industry bodies, governance/proxy firms and other ESG-related research providers. 

Key requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in ESG strategy, corporate sustainability, or related fields, with a proven track record of success in managing or coordinating ESG reporting streams.
  • CA / CPA qualification is preferable but not essential
  • Bachelor degree in commerce, business, sustainability or related field.
  • In-depth understanding of sustainability reporting standards, ESG frameworks, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Proactive approach to working with strong leadership skills and ability to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and co-ordinate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong ability to build relationships across the business and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
