We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager First Nations Digital Inclusion, reporting to the General Manager RDE Segments and Stakeholder Relations.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Manager for First Nations Digital Inclusion, you will play a pivotal role in promoting nbn products and services to First Nations people, enhancing nbn’s reputation and driving advocacy through organisations representing First Nations people. Working closely, and in coordination with, the Executive Manager Indigenous Affairs this external-facing role involves managing multiple stakeholder relationships and requires strong senior stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of First Nations culture, established networks within the community, and the ability to proactively identify and engage stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal and external teams to inform First Nations communities about nbn initiatives, champion digital adoption and literacy, while ensuring governance and optimisation.

A bit about you

If this sounds like the role for you, it’s likely that you have extensive experience managing programs of work in a similar stakeholder environment, ideally managing programs that are developed for First Nations people. You will have the ability to engage confidently with C-level and senior personnel within First Nations communities, businesses, industry, and government.

Excellent communication, consulting, and influencing skills will be essential for success in this role, along with deep understanding of First Nations culture. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport, influence others and collaborate to achieve successful outcomes.
