Reports to: Senior Director, Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX) - Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea)

Location: Sydney, Australia

ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) Operating Unit (OU) Marketing is undergoing a step-change to deliver more balanced, sustainable growth, powered by deeper consumer intimacy, stronger integration, accelerated innovation, and data- and tech-enabled precision marketing. The organization is designed to combine local relevance with scale, shift data and technology from experimentation to competitive advantage, and operate through execution with clear accountability for impact and ROI. All roles operate within a tightly integrated OU–Market model, where the OU elevates and enables strategic growth + OU-wide platforms while markets integrate, execute, and track performance with speed and rigor while developing local content, partnership and experiences.

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

As an individual contributor, you will be designing and delivering culturally iconic, insight-led experiences that connect brands to consumers through Entertainment, Partnerships, Influencers, Culture, and Sports, driving brand relevance, love, and commercial impact. EPICS is the cultural growth engine that creates relevance, demand, and fandom—feeding the IMX performance and conversion system through platforms, partnerships, and ecosystems.

  • Own and lead the EPICS strategy and activation roadmap in-market, aligning platforms, partnerships, influencers, and cultural programs to brand, category, and business priorities.

  • Act as the market subject matter expert and thought leader for EPICS, shaping direction, standards, and best practices while continuously evolving the model through insights, innovation, and first-mover opportunities.

  • Lead senior stakeholder alignment across Marketing, IMX, and Cross Functional Teams, influencing priorities, investment decisions, and execution through strong relationships and performance narratives.

  • Provide leadership and endtoend operational oversight of EPICS experiential executions, including live events, onground activations, and physical experiences—ensuring assets, production, and activation are delivered with excellence, safety, consistency, and cultural impact.

  • Translate brand objectives into connected EPICS platforms anchored on passion points (music, gaming, youth culture, sports), ensuring consistency across retail, digital, media, experiential, and commerce.

  • Integrate EPICS into IMX brand campaigns and consumer journeys, partnering with Creative, Media, Social, Design, and Insights teams to deliver connected experiences.

  • Lead agencies, rights holders, creators, and production partners, ensuring speed, quality, compliance, and value delivery.

  • Build and govern the EPICS partner ecosystem, stewarding top-tier partners while continuously discovering new creators, platforms, rights holders, and communities to sustain cultural relevance and scale.

  • Lead the influencer and creator ecosystem end-to-end, including strategy, selection, negotiation, contracting, and content orchestration, while partnering with Social & Owned and Media on publishing, amplification, and performance optimization.

  • Co-own brand and cultural impact measurement (equity, engagement, relevance) and partner with Media and Social & Owned to link EPICS platforms to traffic, transactions, and ROI.

  • Manage EPICS investments, rights, and partnerships, including valuation, price benchmarking, negotiation, and value tracking to ensure return on investment.

  • Ensure disciplined end‑to‑end P2P process management across investments, enabling timely execution, financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency.

  • Drive capability building across the market, upskilling internal teams and agencies in digital-first, data-led, and performance-driven EPICS execution.

  • Operates as part of the IMX Growth Pillars (EPICS, Social & Owned Digital, and Media), with shared planning, governance, and performance routines.

What Success Looks Like: A step-change in how the brand shows up in culture, with EPICS platforms and partnerships becoming a core demand and relevance engine—shaping consumer connection, accelerating brand love, and fueling the IMX performance and conversion system. The market is recognized for first-mover cultural leadership, disciplined measurement, and a best-in-class EPICS ecosystem that continuously evolves and scales.

Experience & Critical Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience across entertainment marketing, influencer strategy, cultural partnerships, sports marketing, IMX, or integrated brand roles.

  • Proven track record building and scaling cultural or passion-based platforms that drive brand and business outcomes.

  • Strong expertise in influencer ecosystems, creator economies, talent partnerships, and content amplification models.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs across marketing, media, digital, commerce, agencies, and partners.

  • Strong commercial acumen across rights valuation, contract negotiation, price benchmarking, and ROI/value tracking.

  • Data- and performance-oriented, with experience linking EPICS programs to brand equity, engagement, transactions, traffic, and ROI.

  • Experience managing agencies, rights holders, creators, production partners, and complex delivery ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to shape standards, influence direction, and operate as a subject matter expert within a matrix organization.

  • Deep cultural curiosity with a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, youth culture, trends, and communities.

  • Growth mindset with a passion for innovation, learning, and future-ready

 Communication focus:

  • Ability to translate culture, creativity, and data into simple, actionable direction, ensuring consistency across retail, digital, media, experiential, and commerce.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support decision-making through insight- and performance-led thinking.

  • Ability to tell compelling performance stories that connect EPICS initiatives to brand and business outcomes (equity, engagement, traffic, transactions, ROI), driving learning and continuous optimization.

  • Ability to build trusted, high-impact relationships with top-tier partners (rights holders, platforms, talent, creators), while proactively identifying and onboarding new partners that strengthen cultural relevance and scale.

  • Ability to lead complex stakeholder alignment across Marketing, IMX, Commercial, Bottlers, and Agencies—translating priorities, trade-offs, and creative ambition into clear decisions and executable plans.
