Position Summary
Job Summary:
Reporting to the ANZ Operations Director, the Senior Manager, Operational Logistics is crucial in overseeing and optimizing operations, international and domestic logistics.
Key responsibilities include coordinating operations managing shipments, coordinating with international and local agents, negotiating contract pricing, and overseeing the operations team in local activities. The role directly contributes to maintaining strong supplier relationships, optimizing shipping processes, and directly impacting the overall success of the company's operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily Operations and Logistics, ensuring efficient transportation and timely deliveries.

Coordinate between Operations, warehouse teams, and delivery partners for seamless execution.

Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Working with key internal stakeholders including Order fulfillment, production and Service to ensure deadlines are met and products are delivered on time to customers.

Develop and execute strategic plans for receiving, warehousing, and distribution to support business growth.

Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.

Manage forward planning for peak periods and ensure compliance with domestic and international freight requirements.

Oversee 3PL providers and external warehouses, optimizing operations for efficiency and cost control.

Negotiate and manage transport contracts, ensuring compliance and accessibility.

Monitor inventory levels of finished products, ensuring that stock levels meet customer demands.

Maintain accurate inventory records, performing regular cycle counts and audits.

Maintain records of supplier contracts, order confirmations, and delivery receipts.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across logistics operations.

Monitor transport compliance and collaborate with partners for seamless operations.

Manage stock allocation based on demand and forecast analysis.

Prepare and manage annual logistics budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record of leading complex supply chain operations.

Expertise in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and warehouse operations.

Strong knowledge of supply chain technologies and systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Demonstrated ability to manage compliance with domestic and international logistics regulations.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to use Microsoft Office
Experience, Education and Qualification:

5 + years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (highly advantageous).

Sound Lean practical experience with a demonstrated Lean implementation of projects within a production environment

A valid driver’s license.
