A Snapshot
As Senior Manager, PMO, based in our HQ in Sydney, you will report to the Senior Director, PMO & Pre-Flight PM and work closely with teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region. You’ll lead AirTrunk’s central, independent PMO function, which drives consistent delivery across all projects by providing the standards, governance, independent support, and tools that enable confident scaling and expansion for project delivery across both Pre-Flight and In-Flight stages.
Your Day to Day
- Define and implement PMO Standards across disciplines, ensuring consistent and high-quality asset delivery.
- Monitor and drive compliance with PMO Standards across all projects.
- Lead, manage, and continuously improve governance controls across the project lifecycle – ensuring risks are escalated at each milestone gate to support informed decision-making.
- Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, processes, and department-wide projects that enhance delivery capability.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), Retrospectives, and Lessons Learnt (LLs), ensuring outcomes are captured, documented, and embedded into future delivery.
- Provide best practice guidance for program and project management across the business.
- Own and deliver services within the four PMO Service Pillars:
- Standards
- Governance
- Independent Support
- Tools
- May be required to manage a team of PMO Coordinators, overseeing their workload, development, and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience leading or in a PMO, preferably with a data centre or large infrastructure development and construction company.
- Project/Program Management Certification (Prince2, PMI etc) and/or a bachelor’s degree in project management or engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- History of successful stakeholder management.
