A Snapshot

At AirTrunk, we’re focused on delivering data centres that scale with the needs of our cloud and enterprise customers. As the Senior Manager, Site Selection Strategy & Acquisition, you’ll play a key role in identifying and securing strategic locations that support our continued expansion across Australia. Reporting to the Director and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you’ll build strong relationships, shape new opportunities, and contribute to high‑impact growth initiatives.

Your Day to Day

You’ll conduct detailed market research and opportunity mapping, engaging with landowners, brokers, developers, and government partners to uncover high‑potential sites. Working with our Data Strategy and Engineering teams, you’ll assess availability zones, development risks, costs, and timelines to inform recommendations.

You’ll coordinate end‑to‑end due diligence, feasibility assessments, and stakeholder input, ensuring accuracy and transparency throughout the evaluation process. You’ll support investment approval documentation, assist in negotiating key legal agreements, and manage contract execution. Clear communication will be essential, as you prepare concise reports and updates for internal teams.

What You’ll Need

  • 8–10 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions, transaction management, or development‑related roles.
  • Strong capability in market research, site evaluation, and opportunity mapping across established and emerging regions.
  • Proven ability to coordinate due diligence and feasibility assessments with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience supporting legal negotiations and managing acquisition documentation, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and compliance.
