About the role   
  

We’re seeking a Senior Manager - State & JV Partners Engagement, who will be a critical enabler for the Customer Solutions and Australian Markets Partnering (CS&) business. You will help to build strong relationships with key partners, including State Government Transport Agencies.

You’ll join a team that builds and strengthens relationships with our key strategic partners.

As our Senior Manager - State & JV Partners Engagement, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. 

Day-to-day, you will:   

  • Plan, coordinate and lead meetings with large cohorts of senior external stakeholders

  • Represent Transurban at relevant industry conferences, meetings and forums   

  • Support and manage the development, renewals and renegotiation of various agreements

  • Initiate improvements to Services Agreements to promote consistency and alignment to business operating models and strategic objectives

  • Build and maintain a register of customer agreements and pertinent renegotiation requirements

  • Establish and regularly review team priorities, performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:   

  • An extensive track record in a comparable external stakeholder relationship role involving technical and commercial complexity, government and non-government stakeholders and facilitating and influencing outcomes in those environments

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Influencing skills in complex environments and with senior executives
