We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Senior Manager, Strategic Portfolio Management, reporting to Executive Manager - Executive Governance & PMO.

A bit about your role

The Senior Manager Strategic Portfolio Management translates customer needs into scalable solutions, oversees the SPM roadmap, and ensures solution consistency and data integrity. The position also leads technology delivery activities, supports testing, training, and change, and works with BDOs to realise business benefits.

In addition, the role manages demand and the product backlog, promotes out‑of‑the‑box functionality, facilitates cross‑functional collaboration and governance, engages stakeholder communities, and delivers strategic initiatives across the People, Process & Partnerships team.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate will bring more than eight years of experience in enterprise-wide delivery governance and portfolio management across complex, cross‑functional environments. The role requires strong capability in strategic planning, investment governance, change integration, and stakeholder engagement, supported by advanced skills in risk, compliance, and benefits realisation using ETD frameworks.

Exceptional communication and influencing abilities are essential, as is the capacity to plan, prioritise, and coordinate complex initiatives while navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced enterprise setting.
