About the Role
With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline of transactions, the BDO Sydney Deal Advisory team are seeking to appoint a Transaction Services Senior Manager to join the team.

We are a high performing team having won various awards such as, Leading Accounting Adviser for IPOs on the ASX in 2024, a leading Financial Due Diligence provider globally and we have completed 1,752 deals globally in 2024!
Current opportunity
As a Senior Manager in Transaction Services, you will manage, and lead teams performing detailed financial analysis (i.e. financial due diligence and forecast reviews) and preparing reports/ presentations for senior management and boards.
This role will also provide the opportunity to:
- Interact directly with senior management (C-suite) of our clients
- Identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
- Performance management, mentoring and training junior staff members
- Set a career path with clear and honest visibility around progression
- Be responsible for business development and pursuit activities as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
- Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.
About you
Our preferred candidate comes from a Corporate Finance background ideally from a professional services firm. You will be bold, client-focussed with a growth-mindset. Combined with:
- 6 years of relevant work experience (including 4 years’ experience in a dedicated Transaction Services role)
- Background in another leading accounting or advisory firm or investment banking
- Strong report writing, research, modelling and financial analytical skills.
- Delivery and project management experience
- CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar
- Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including, Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business or Finance.
