About the business/role/team
This Sydney CBD based role will be part of the senior leadership team within the Bank’s Workplace Department with responsibility for managing facilities operations, the commercial management of owned and leased premises and the workplace experience to enable operational availability, workplace productivity and the effectiveness of the Bank’s physical assets.
About the role
This role will report to the Deputy Head of Department and be a member of the Workplace leadership team.
You will lead the Asset Portfolio Workplace Services group that is responsible for property and facilities management, commercial management of owned and lease premises and workplace experience services across all Bank owned and leased premises. The Bank has many highly secure critical assets. This Workplace Services group has 20 staff located in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
About you
Significant experience in asset and portfolio management in a corporate and/or public sector environment, including property and facilities management, commercial management of owned and leased premises and workplace services
Demonstrated success in driving strategic asset management outcomes, effective operational delivery and a positive workplace experience
Proven people leadership of large and diverse teams, developing and motivating team members to achieve individual and collective success
Ability to foresee and address complex issues and interdependencies, identify and mitigate risks, and demonstrate awareness of the impact on operations
Extensive experience building trust and confidence by proactively engaging internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels
Demonstrated experience in managing external vendors to ensure value for money and delivery to contract obligations and service level expectations
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to overcome challenges and influence positive behaviour
