Job Description

We are seeking a Maritime Engineer to join our Ports & Marine team in Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful marine infrastructure projects across NSW & ACT and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team..

  • Support the delivery of structural engineering projects for ports and marine facilities, contributing to design, analysis, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Assist in providing technical input across project phases, while continuing to develop engineering judgment and industry knowledge.

  • Ensure project work complies with relevant local and international maritime codes and standards.

  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.

  • Contribute to design innovation, participate in quality assurance activities, and engage in knowledge sharing through team presentations and industry development opportunities.

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:

  • Extensive experience in structural engineering, with recent experience in ports and marine projects
  • Recognised qualification (Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Similar).
  • Proven project management and design experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority. 
  • Track record of technical expertise delivering Ports and Marine projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices, particularly in marine environments.
