Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Marketing - Leafio, the Senior Marketing Insights Analyst will play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting marketing data to drive actionable insights for both our Leafio and Montu Brands marketing teams.

The role is responsible for tracking the effectiveness of campaigns, analysing sales performance, reporting on key metrics, delivering data-driven insights to inform brand strategy, and assessing marketing spend across multiple channels, including Google Ads, website analytics, and other digital platforms.

This role will require a blend of analytical expertise, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of marketing performance to inform strategic decisions and optimise our marketing efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

    • Prepare and deliver regular reports and action insights on sales and category data.

    • Prepare and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing and sales effectiveness.

    • Monitor and analyse web and microsite traffic, conversion rates, and other metrics to assess the success of digital marketing efforts.

    • Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements for future initiatives.

    • Create reports and visualisations that communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise way.

    • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to inform and shape brand strategy.


  • Marketing Spend & Budget Analysis

    • Monitor and track marketing spend across various channels, including Google Ads, social media, third party display and digital media, and paid search campaigns.

    • Provide detailed reporting on the ROI of marketing expenditures and suggest adjustments to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

    • Collaborate with finance and marketing teams to ensure that marketing budgets are being allocated effectively to maximise returns.


  • Campaign Performance Analysis

    • Track and analyse the success of specific marketing campaigns, identifying trends and patterns to inform future strategies. Including paid media campaigns requiring tagging of ads and reporting.

    • Provide insights on customer behaviour, campaign effectiveness, and the impact on sales pipelines.


  • Website Analytics & User Behaviour

    • Analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps, and other analytics platforms to understand user behaviour and identify opportunities for optimisation.

    • Report on key website metrics, including traffic, bounce rates, session duration, cart behaviour and conversion rates, with recommendations for improvements.

    • Support A/B testing efforts and website optimisation strategies by providing data insights to guide decision-making.


  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    • Work closely with B2B marketing teams to align on goals and provide data-driven insights that support campaign execution.

    • Communicate insights and analysis to senior stakeholders, helping to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimise marketing initiatives and support business objectives.

    • Work with Braze specialist to build automated reports. 

    • Assist in piping new attributes through to Braze, identify and build customer attributes for the Automation team.

    • Work with pharmacy banner groups marketing teams to understand and optimise performance on co-marketing activities.


Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time.

Qualifications

In addition to these foundations, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar, preferably also newly created role in a highly dynamic, fast paced, B2B environment.

  • Experience in analysing marketing data, including Google Ads, social media, third party digital campaigns, email marketing, and website performance.

  • Strong ability to interpret and analyse data to extract actionable insights with the ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient in data modelling, statistical analysis and data visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Looker, Tableau).

  • Experience using Braze or similar CRM tools and Hightouch or similar Reverse ETL tools.

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tagging, Shopify and building customised reports

  • Knowledge of propensity and model scoring.

  • Experience analysing and tracking marketing spend, budget management, and ROI.

  • Strong project management skills and experience and delivering analytical projects from end to end.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business.

  • Strong analytic / quantitative research skills and experience in different research methodologies.

  • Stellar communication skills, adept at bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
