The core Netflix Ads team is charged with building a new, best-in-class ads organisation to establish Netflix as the go-to platform for advertiser partners. The Netflix Ads measurement team is tasked with building industry-leading research for advertisers to support our broader advertising sales efforts. This role is specifically for Australia based in Sydney. 

Netflix’s Ads APAC Measurement team is looking for a new Senior Measurement Partner to join the team. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, consumer insights, data science, and our vendor partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct research that generates insights to effectively convey the story of Netflix's Ads in the Australian market with clients and agencies, with a focus on Brand Lift Studies (BLS), campaign effectiveness, reach and frequency outcomes and campaign verification.

  • Use proprietary and syndicated tools to create regular reporting for stakeholders (both internal and external) on the AU Netflix Ads audience, in comparison to competitors.

  • Integrate measurement outputs to craft a compelling narrative, present insights independently to clients and agencies, and offer guidance on optimising their media mix.

  • Manage the day-to-day BLS study process with third-party vendors from end to end, such as sales requests, vendor intake, survey drafting, analysis, report creation, and presentation. Working closely with Sales Account Managers. 

  • Partner with the AU Advertising Sales team to address day-to-day measurement requests. Offer expert advice to clients and agencies on KPIs and measurement strategies, enhancing media plan effectiveness on Netflix.

  • Partner with the sales team, clients and agencies to create category-specific learning agendas & playbooks, bringing innovative approaches to the forefront.

  • Support team projects, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and maintain high standards. Build and promote processes for efficient working methods across the team to bring complex measurement integrations to market.

  • Both internal and external stakeholder management (i.e. advertisers, clients, data analytic vendors, etc.)

  • Analyse, collect, and organise information on trends in campaign effectiveness measurement within Netflix and the media industry to develop and present case studies from ongoing and completed analyses.

Experience & Skills

  • Have 7+ years experience in media research and measurement at a streaming platform, broadcaster, digital media company, media agency or research agency.

  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. Nielsen, OzTAM, Cint, Kantar, etc.) and digital first party measurement. 

  • Experienced in effectiveness measurements such as, Brand Lift, Reach & Frequency,  Incremental Lift, Sales Lift, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models, Search Lift and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies. Including questionnaire scripting. 

  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. GWI, WARC, etc.) as well as direct digital technology and analytics.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate strategic insights from rigorous analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of the advertising landscape, across all kinds of media channels and methods of buying, ideally with a TV and BVOD focus.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate strategic insights from rigorous analysis.

  • Self-starter and self-motivated with strong communication skills and expertise in managing larger-scale, complex projects.

  • Highly organised and experienced in building and following processes to make working methods more efficient. 

  • Flexible and open-minded: able to thrive in a startup environment with ambiguity

  • Builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues; values diverse perspectives for better decision-making.

  • Highly curious, always looking for the meaning behind data.

  • Excellent writing and presentation-building skills.

Preferred Tools & Technical Skills

  • Proven expertise in advanced measurement methodologies. 

  • Comfort in analyzing large and disparate data sets to glean meaningful insights. 

  • Skills in advanced data analysis tools: Excel, Q, Tableau.
