THE ROLE 

Join a leading team at the forefront of digital media innovation. As part of the Media Planning team, you’ll support our global programmatic sales organization by developing strategic, detail-oriented responses to RFIs and RFPs in close partnership with cross-functional teams across Zeta. We’re looking for someone with prior experience in digital media planning who thrives on making smart, KPI-driven recommendations and communicates clearly and proactively. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact at a fast-growing digital advertising technology company and craft cutting-edge client solutions. Candidates must be located in the West or Central Time Zones. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Help drive revenue growth by developing media plans and proposals that win business and support account expansion
  • Present strategic media plans and manage in-flight updates based on objectives, timelines, and formats
  • Own the on-time delivery of compelling proposals that align with advertiser and agency campaign KPIs
  • Build and maintain a proposal library to streamline planning and apply past learnings
  • Serve as a trusted product and technology expert to both sales and internal stakeholders
  • Guide the design of high-performing campaigns across digital media, social, email, video, DOOH, Streaming audio, and more
  • Translate campaign requirements into specific audience and inventory recommendations using internal and third-party data
  • Communicate proactively and often, ensuring tight coordination with sales, analytics, and other teams
  • Capture and share market feedback to inform team strategies and product improvements
  • Support the creation of new proposal templates and materials for both internal training and external presentations
  • Continuously refine proposal quality, workflows, and planning processes to improve efficiency and impact 

Who you are: 

  • You have experience in digital media planning or strategy and are comfortable making recommendations grounded in campaign KPIs, formats, timelines, and budget.
  • You’re naturally detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work with minimal oversight.
  • You communicate proactively and clearly, ensuring internal teams are always aligned on expectations and next steps.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at working cross-functionally with sales, strategy, analytics, and product teams.
  • You’re confident presenting ideas and recommendations directly to sales teams and enjoy partnering closely with them throughout the planning process.
  • You are comfortable working in dynamic environments where details may evolve quickly and proactively adjust plans without sacrificing quality.
  • You’re used to managing tight timelines and competing priorities, and know how to stay organized and focused under pressure.
  • You’re interested in advertising categories and enjoy diving into data and inventory insights across industry trends, platforms, and pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPA).
  • You’re a fast learner who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
  • You have a demonstrated affinity for quantitative analysis and using data to inform your recommendations. 

What you need: 

  • Eagerness to work in a dynamic distributed team in a rapidly growing business environment  
  • College Degree preferred and a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in online advertising or digital media  
  • Experience with a variety of advertising categories and understanding of what data and inventory work for advertisers  
  • Understanding of online ad campaign metrics and analysis, online advertising industry trends, technologies, and pricing models (CPM, CPC, & CPA)  
  • Very strong skills in working with Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Ability to work independently in a creative and fast paced environment

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
