Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Consultant (SharePoint, Purview) to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft data security solutions to provide strategic guidance and implement robust security measures for our clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in clients' Microsoft environments
  • Strong background in SharePoint having worked on migration projects and upgrades
  • Experience in Data Security with hands on experience with Microsoft Purview
  • Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Purview
  • Design and implement data security strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and compliance regulations
  • Configure and deploy Microsoft security tools and solutions, such as Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Cloud App Security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across various systems and platforms
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients' IT staff on Microsoft data security practices
  • Develop detailed documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate security findings and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and advancements in Microsoft data security technologies

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in data security, particularly with Microsoft technologies and solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft data security tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Cloud App Security)
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, security frameworks, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate) are preferred
  • Experience in cloud security, particularly with Microsoft Azure, is desirable
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools is beneficial
  • Consulting experience in data security projects is preferred
