As part of the Network, Identity, and Security Team, you'll be supporting and maintaining our corporate network, along with the services and devices that protect it. You'll build solutions and solve technical problems--small and large--from BAU, fault finding and fixing issues to documentation, training others, and managing incidents. A typical work week might include: Troubleshooting routing/switching or WiFi issues, troubleshooting remote access issues, supporting new office builds and deployments, and working with the team to develop network standards and documentation. You'll find improvement opportunities, participate in developing and refining policies and procedures, and help build a robust network infrastructure that scales and operates efficiently. - Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- Working on new Atlassian office network build and retrofit
- Enhancing the Zero Trust network suite.

Things we expect you to arrive with on Day 1:
- 5+ years working with converged Corporate and Campus networks, with an understanding of routing/switching, WLAN, WAN, security and Cloud networks.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in WiFi technology, RF Design, RF Survey/Engineering and RF troubleshooting skills with experience in protocols and authentication mechanisms.
(802.11ac/ax, WPA/WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, EAP-TLS etc.) - Expert-level deployment and support experience with Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, Cisco Spaces and Ekahau Wireless survey
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper infrastructure (SRX Firewalls and Junos Space)
- Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting remote access solutions such as Cisco Anyconnect
- Periodic on-call duties to provide Network support, incident management and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and concepts such as OSPF, BGP, STP, IPSEC, VSS
- Greenfield office network deployment experience.
- Experience in designing and supporting zero-trust security infrastructure
- Experience with automation and tooling Python/Ansible/Bash/Git
- Proficient in creating comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting run-books and as-built documents.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to work with a global, remote workforce
- Up to 10% of travel to other Atlassian offices around the globe.
Things that would be great but we already have or you can grow into:
- Windows Active Directory experience
- AWS and VMware experience would also be well regarded.
- Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS infrastructure/environments.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework and its application in a network environment.
- Network certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP
