About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support across core network and roadside network environments.
- Maintain high network availability, security compliance, PCI DSS and timely patching.
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Manage incidents, service requests and changes within SLA and ITIL processes.
- Design and implement network solutions for projects, ensuring high availability and security.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification of network operations.
- Advanced Cisco expertise (routers, switches, wireless, Nexus).
- Strong routing knowledge: VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution.
- Advanced Palo Alto firewall experience.
- Experience with ICS/SCADA networks (Modbus, PLC, control systems).
- Ability to work in mission‑critical, high‑availability environments with minimal supervision.
- Highly organised communicator with strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
