About the business/role/team
Join an established team of critical infrastructure specialists
Provide IT and Business operational support 24 x 7. Install and maintain enterprise tools to automate, schedule, release, deploy and monitor all services.
Monitor systems and services and provide 1st level support in line with predefined operational controls, processes and requirements.
Respond to system requests and messages, while monitoring IT incidents across operating system, network and application environments.
Monitor Networks and System Application using a variety of Enterprise tools.
Continually improve the effectiveness and effectiveness of IT systems by IT operations.
About you
A seasoned IT professional with previous HRO experience
Ability to learn new technical skills for any new automation or monitoring tools as well as install and configure them with assistance from vendors.
Experience in configuring Application Performance Monitoring alerting thresholds.
Experience working in and supporting financial environments.
Sound experience working within a service orientated and risk adverse environment.
Experience in implementing / creating process improvements.
Ability to complete tasks without supervision and provide guidance to entry / intermediate staff.
Experience in an IT operational role within a medium to large environment.
Knowledge of establishing, modifying and deploying Enterprise automation jobs.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and technologies and extensive experience in one or many areas.
Strong knowledge of enterprise systems management, including configuring and modifying infrastructure objects and alerting thresholds.
