Who we are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

What you’ll do

Voice, identity & narrative

  • Define and codify Heidi’s social tone of voice and visual identity across all channels — ensuring consistency, credibility, and humanity.

  • Translate Heidi’s brand, product, and clinical narratives into accessible, engaging social storytelling.

  • Build a content framework that flexes for global relevance and local nuance.

Content strategy & planning

  • Own Heidi’s organic social strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Meta, Glassdoor, Trustpilot, and emerging platforms.

  • Own and scale a robust employee advocacy strategy that amplifies the voices of Heidi’s builders, clinicians, and leaders across social platforms.

  • Build and maintain a global content calendar aligned with product launches, brand milestones, and field-marketing priorities.

  • Partner with Brand, Paid Social, Product Marketing, PR, and Field Marketing to ensure integrated, cross-channel campaigns.

Creative development & publishing

  • Collaborate with design to produce visual assets that reflect a unified Heidi aesthetic (plus for the ability to create your own video content)

  • Write high-quality, human, and platform-appropriate copy.

  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts across company channels; coordinate timing with founders and leadership to maximise visibility and alignment.

Community management & executive support

  • Lead community management across all platforms — monitoring conversations, engaging authentically, and representing Heidi with empathy and clarity.

  • Support founder and executive posting.

  • Establish clear community standards around tone, response times, escalation, and risk.

Governance, quality & brand protection

  • Implement a structured approval workflow and “four eyes” review system for high-visibility or sensitive content.

  • Monitor sentiment, misinformation, and emerging risks — proactively flagging issues to Comms and PR.

  • Ensure all activity upholds ethical, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Insights, reporting & optimisation

  • Use Meltwater and platform analytics to track sentiment, conversation trends, keyword activity, and competitive benchmarks.

  • Build a monthly reporting cadence summarising performance, insights, risks, and opportunities.

  • Continuously refine strategy based on testing, analytics, and audience feedback.

Cross-functional alignment

  • Work closely with Acquisition to maintain alignment across Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit, ensuring organic and paid work reinforce one another.

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Brand, and Comms to deliver a unified narrative across markets.

  • Help set clear processes for how teams engage with social channels as Heidi scales.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5–8+ years in social media, brand, or digital communications — ideally in high-growth tech, healthcare, or regulated categories.

  • Demonstrated experience building multi-channel organic social programs with measurable brand impact.

  • Strong ability to humanise complex topics and write with clarity, warmth, and authority.

  • Hands-on operator who can balance strategic thinking with end-to-end execution.

  • Skilled in social listening, reputation management, and community moderation.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, brand, communications, and design teams.

  • Comfortable handling sensitive issues, escalation paths, and fast-moving conversations in public forums.

  • Deep understanding of platform norms, emerging trends, and audience behaviour.

The Way We Work

1. Build to Last

We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.

2. Own Your Practice

Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady

We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.

4. Make Others Better

Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.

Why you will flourish with us

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.

What you need to know about the Sydney Tech Scene

From opera to comedy shows, the Sydney Opera House hosts more than 1,600 performances a year, yet its entertainment sector isn't the only one taking center stage. The city's tech sector has earned a reputation as one of the fastest-growing in the region. More specifically, its IT sector stands out as the country's third-largest, growing at twice the rate of overall employment in the past decade as businesses continue to digitize their operations to stay competitive.
