Senior Partner Development Manager - Cloud and Strategic Alliances ANZ (Sydney)

The core focus for the Partner Development Manager is on building and managing strategic alliances with major cloud partners and strategic alliances, to drive Snowflake's adoption and mutual revenue growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Alliance & Relationship Management:
Proactively build and nurture relationships with cloud partner sales teams
Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for joint sales activities with these cloud partners.
Manage the complex dynamics of co-sell relationships.
Sales Enablement & Co-Selling:
Articulate Snowflake's value proposition to cloud sales teams to show how Snowflake drives consumption of their cloud services.
Enable cloud sellers and technical specialists on Snowflake.
Support both Snowflake and cloud partner sales teams on joint customer opportunities.
Identify top regional opportunities for executive sponsorship.
Strategy & Program Management:
Identify and develop joint sales strategies and Go-To-Market plans.
Manage and execute co-sell programs in the field.
Own and manage cloud partner-funded programs for Proof of Concepts and migrations, ensuring they are attached to opportunities.
Performance Measurement & Operations:
Work with partner operations to measure the impact of field programs (deal registration, joint pipeline, wins).
Internal Collaboration & Communication:
Build strong relationships with Snowflake's internal sales, technical teams and regional leadership.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute on joint marketing initiatives
Maintain continuous communication with regional and global partner team members, sharing best practices.
Key Requirements & Experience:
Experience:
7+ years in business development, sales, and/or alliance management.
3+ years of experience specifically partnering with Cloud Solution Providers
Background in software and/or SaaS is essential.
Skills & Attributes:
Proven success in managing alliance partnerships, with an ability to identify and capitalise on areas of mutual business interests.
Strong verbal communication and executive presentation skills.
Excellent multitasking, negotiation, organisation, and teamwork abilities.
A proactive self-starter with high initiative and a quick learner.
Practical:
Ability to travel frequently.
