The opportunity

You’ll be part of a dynamic and passionate People & Culture team accountable for active partnering, employee relations and workforce change. The Senior P&C Advisor will provide guidance and best practice advice and support for leaders, focusing on performance improvement and people related matters, including ER cases & investigations. It will also be involved in projects across key strategic areas that impact people including M&A, integration and process improvement.

How will you make an impact?

  • Coach and support people leaders on a variety of people related situations including performance management, conflict resolution, managing absenteeism's, and ER related cases and complex queries.

  • Partners with leaders to support people related change and workforce transition projects.  

  • Support and coach leaders in the response, management and investigation of employee grievances and other workplace matters, including the appropriate application of industrially sound disciplinary outcomes, and timely implementation of any local or organisational continuous improvement.

  • Draft formal correspondence from leaders or the organisation to team members.

  • Identifying and implement continuous improvement opportunities to better our people related practices, processes and service delivery methods.

  • Support the HRBP’s and their respective client group, actively collaborating with them on proactive strategies to support the businesses people plan.

  • Support the ER Manager on escalated cases and looking at proactive ways to support the business and remain compliant. 

  • Actively participate and contribute to the Chapter’s OKR’s and business strategies, including M&A & integration activity as well as HR related project work.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

  • A degree qualification in human resources preferred.

  • Demonstrated excellence in client support and exposure in helping with people related matters and queries.

  • Previous experience in a HR /ER advisory role with a generalist focus, partnering with leaders to solve people matters. In particular, exposure to end-to-end live demand employee relations case management and advisory support​.

  • Proven ability to work and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes.

  • Policy and legislation/ employment law interpretation experience

  • Exposure to supporting client groups in both AU & NZ jurisdictions preferred.​

  • Ability to analyse workforce data and management information to produce reports and inform recommendations
