Job Description

We're looking for a Pega Functional and Technical Consultant to join our team in Sydney. This client-facing role is for a Pega expert with a background in the telecommunications sector. You will be responsible for creating Pega applications that solve core challenges for our telco clients, improving their operational efficiency.

As a consultant, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of Pega solutions. You will lead workshops with client stakeholders to define business requirements and translate these needs into technical specifications and process flows. You will then build the Pega application components, including user interfaces, business rules, and integrations. A key part of your role is to provide expert guidance on Pega architecture and best practices, ensuring that your collaboration with project managers and analysts results in a successful delivery that meets client objectives.

Qualifications

  • Pega Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing Pega solutions. Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is highly desirable.

  • Deep Telco Knowledge: Demonstrable experience working within the telecommunications industry is a must-have. You should have a strong understanding of core telco business processes (e.g., BSS/OSS, order-to-activate, lead-to-cash, trouble-to-resolve).

  • Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and manage senior stakeholders.

  • Functional & Technical Versatility: Ability to seamlessly switch between functional analysis (gathering requirements, process mapping) and technical development (configuration, hands-on implementation).

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A natural ability to analyse complex problems, propose effective solutions, and think critically.
