The Senior Business Partner Group is the people partner to the Corporate segment (Bizops, and Product and Technology (Core Technology, Strategy). The role executes the Global People strategy with the corporate segment to strengthen organisational performance, leadership capability, workforce effectiveness and employee experience. Through workforce planning, organisational design, talent management, leadership coaching and change leadership, the role enables leaders to build high-performing teams capable of delivering business outcomes as well as a great place to work.​

Key responsibilities for the role

    Business Partnership ​

    Acts as a trusted advisor to the ELT leaders and SLT member on people, workforce and organisational matters.​

    Influences leadership decisions through data, insights and commercial understanding.​

    Builds strong partnerships with leaders to proactively identify opportunities and address organisational challenges.​

    Balances enterprise priorities with functional business needs to deliver practical people solutions.​

    Segment People Strategy & Planning ​

    Develops and executes clear, measurable segment people plans aligned to achieve the Global People Strategy.​

    Partners with leaders to identify priorities that improve business, team and leadership performance.​

    Utilises workforce intelligence to track progress and impact.​

    Workforce Planning, Talent, Performance and Development​

    Leads workforce planning activities to identify future workforce requirements — headcount, skills mix and capability needs and puts plans in place to address gaps and opportunities.​

    Designs and delivers talent management programs, succession planning and leadership pipeline development.​

    Leadership & Team Effectiveness​

    Coaches' senior leaders to build high-performing, accountable and inclusive teams.​

    Supports leaders to improve employee engagement, culture and performance outcomes using enterprise culture and engagement frameworks ​

    Builds leadership capability through focused development and coaching initiatives. Strengthens collaboration, alignment and accountability across leadership teams.

    Organisational Design & Change Management​

    Leads organisational design initiatives that improve effectiveness, scalability and performance.​

    Assesses organisational impacts, risks and readiness for change.​

    Partners with leaders to successfully implement and sustain change initiatives. ​
    Enterprise Program Delivery​

    Leads the implementation of enterprise people programs and frameworks within the segment.​

    Partners with Corporate to embed talent, performance, reward, engagement and capability initiatives.​

    Ensures consistent application of people policies, frameworks and practices. Identifies opportunities to improve adoption and effectiveness of enterprise programs.​

    Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk Management​

    Provide expert guidance to leaders on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally sound outcomes​

    Manages employee relations matters and escalate high risk matters to the CPO​

     

Qualifications and experience

  • 8+ years' experience in Human Resources, including significant HR Business Partnering experience in a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading workforce planning, organisational design and change initiatives.
  • Strong background in talent and performance management, succession planning and leadership development.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge ​
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant employment legislation and employee relations practice​
  • Proven ability to build credible, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and to influence at a leadership level​
  • Demonstrated experience in working with people data and analytics to inform recommendations and decisions​
