About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design, build, run, and evolve tools, infrastructure, templates, and capabilities that our engineering community uses to deliver business value. You’ll write code to automate infrastructure and environments, and collaborate with product owners and engineers to build platforms that enable faster, safer, and higher-quality delivery.
We’re especially keen to hear from engineers passionate about:
- Infrastructure as Code
- Software-defined everything
- LLMs, GPUs, and High Performance Compute
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to enable repeatable and reliable deployments.
CI/CD Automation: Develop and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline application deployment and ensure consistency across environments.
Cloud Architecture Governance: Lead cloud design workshops, collaborate with vendor partners, and participate in solution review boards to ensure architectural alignment and compliance.
DevOps Enablement: Drive the adoption of DevOps practices across teams, promoting automation, observability, and continuous improvement in platform engineering.
Containerized Platform Operations: Build and operate containerized environments using Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD to support scalable, secure, and resilient applications.
Cloud Migration & Optimization: Provide expert guidance on AWS architecture, security, cost optimization, and performance tuning for complex, multi-tier application migrations.
We are interested in hearing from people who have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an AWS Architect and in cloud migration
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost management
Preferred:
Experience with cloud-based data integration (AWS or Azure)
Knowledge of ETL tools such as Ab Initio or similar
AWS Solutions Architect certification
Any experience or interest in emerging AI technologies would be highly regarded
