What you'd be doing in this role
At Canva, the Cloud Platform team ensures a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud ecosystem that supports our mission to empower the world to design. As a Product Manager in this team, you'll focus on:
- Partnering with engineering leadership to refine the strategy and vision for Canva's cloud infrastructure
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, security, and finance, to align infrastructure development with company objectives.
- Driving innovation in infrastructure technology to stay ahead of industry trends and user demands.
- Defining and articulating outcomes and impact for key product initiatives for target users and consumers and to broader business goals.
- Balancing technical, business, and user needs, making decisions based on data and informed insights.
- Communicating progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You're probably a match if
- YOU have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of platforms, software development, and current technology trends.
- YOU thrive in technical environments and are comfortable collaborating with engineers to build scalable solutions.
- YOU are strategic yet hands-on, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- YOU possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- YOU are a strategic thinker with a track record of executing large-scale projects successfully (ideally in technical platforms, cloud services, or other related areas)
About the team
The Infra Supergroup at Canva aims to make complex technology simple for Canvanauts by building foundational platforms that will propel Canva's growth. The scope is broad: every week, thousands of developers interact with the tools, utilities, and platforms that Infra provides. Infra plays a direct role in improving developer productivity across the entire software lifecycle. More than just a set of tools, Infra aims to improve developer happiness and unlock innovations that empower Canva teams to delight users and enter new markets.
We are looking for an experienced product manager to drive key platform and infrastructure initiatives to accelerate the entire engineering cohort at Canva, making it even easier for our product teams to rapidly turn their ideas into features and experiences that delight our loyal users. We're looking for someone who can provide clarity in highly technical, complex areas and maximise our positive impact on Canva's engineering teams worldwide.
