Job description
The Senior Solutions Engineer / Presales Consultant works to win deals from new accounts and from the expansion within the existing Akeneo customers, in the APAC region.
You'll work with the Sales team on qualified sales opportunities to turn them into customers. Your responsibility includes discovering the prospect's situation, defining the best approach with the sales team, demonstrating Akeneo's value and consultative selling using product demos, running prospect workshops, providing technical insights, and leveraging our tech partners' ecosystem's joint value.
More precisely, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and maintain a high degree of expertise in product information management (PIM), product experience (PXM), other Akeneo products, and its ecosystem of 3rd-party Solution Partners.
- Conduct discovery sessions together with sales and with representatives from the prospective customer. In order to build relationships with the prospect, understand their unique needs and guide them towards the solution that works best for them.
- Create and deliver value-based demonstrations of such solutions, in both technical and business discussions, tailored to the prospects' needs. The Senior PreSales position him/herself a trusted advisor who proactively leads, creates and delivers the solution proposition of Akeneo tailored to each prospect, that includes Akeneo core softwares, the Akeneo 3rd party ecosystem, and the System Integration delivery.
- Thrive in a client-facing environment and communicate simple solutions to complex problems.
- In any other appropriate way, support the selling efforts of the Account Executives (the Sales team), from qualification and discovery to execution, including deal close.
- Other typical PreSales tasks include cooperating with Tech and SI partners, representing Akeneo at trade shows, managing RFIs/RFPs and preparation of the hand-over to the Post-sales teams .

Recommended qualifications
- You are fluent in English.
- You have multiple years of experience in Pre-Sales in a B2B SaaS or IT services company.
- You have strong presentation skills and can demonstrate the value of the products you represent.
- You possess some skills or experiences with web-based, data, or e-commerce technologies.
- You possess knowledge of project management, software development, sales, or architecture.
- You developed high-level personal planning, communication and organisational skills
- You bring experience in the world of e-commerce, enterprise softwares related to content management or master data management
