Your role

You'll be a part of our IT team based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. As a Senior Process Automation Engineer you'll work closely with stakeholders across our Corporate Services teams to deliver high-quality solutions, allowing for better use of time and resources.
You'll also be involved in:
Designing and implementing scalable automation solutions across enterprise systems and business processes.
Driving the full lifecycle from discovery and design through to deployment and ongoing support which will involve engaging directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and define requirements.
Translating complex business workflows into efficient, automated processes using modern tools and platforms.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure reliability and traceability of automated processes.
Mentoring junior engineers, analysts, other IT staff and business in automation best practices.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
About you
You will have:
5+ years in automation development, within a medium to large corporate environment.
Proven expertise in designing and delivering automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Bi, Copilot Agents) and Azure Logic Apps.
Experience with Boomi for automation across enterprise systems will be well regarded.
Familiarity with Workato, K2, and/or Automation Anywhere would be beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to discover, understand, and integrate with RESTful APIs, including navigating documentation and experimenting with endpoints.
Experienced in integrating across hybrid environments, including cloud platforms like Azure and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and a range of on-premises enterprise systems.
Solid understanding of automation lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and security best practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.
A strong focus on continuous improvement, with a commitment to delivering measurable business value through automation.
Curiosity that drives you to explore new technologies, challenge assumptions, and uncover smarter ways to solve problems.
