We have an outstanding opportunity for a Product Designer to join our AI team in Sydney. The AI team is set up to accelerate AI innovation across all our products and platforms, provide cohesive AI experiences, and build an Atlassian AI infrastructure for the future.

Your future team
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to be a key pillar in the AI Design team. In this role, you'll report to the Senior Design Manager of AI Platform. Your scope will consist of multiple teams across North America and Australia. Together, you will create high-quality experiences that feel like they came from one set of hands and communicate a strong point of view. Leading this space means you will focus on defining and scaling AI interaction patterns across the Atlassian product portfolio to deliver best-in-class AI experiences to over 250,000 customers!
What you'll do

• Increase the AI capabilities in our software patterns
• Demonstrate excellence in systems design
• Collaborate with AI teams across Atlassian to develop, mature, and scale their interaction patterns
• Elevate our bar for craft in software interfaces within AI and in collaboration with Atlassian Design Systems (ADS)

Your background

• 5+ years of product design experience designing complex or enterprise-level software
• Passion for story-telling, the ability to bring design direction to life with compelling narrative
• Experience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility
• Experience in design systems, the ability to identify common components required to support a wide array of customer use cases.
• Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methods
