The Senior Product Development Manager is responsible for shaping HUB24’s platform product strategy, overseeing the product lifecycle, and driving delivery through agile methodologies.


As a senior leader, you will manage a high-performing team, own the product roadmap, and champion user-centric design principles. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the advice and wealth management landscape by delivering best-in-class solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Ownership

  • Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market trends, and client needs.
  • Lead product ownership within a Scrum team, ensuring the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with agile delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes effectively.

  • Agile Product Development

  • Drive product development through agile methodologies, actively contributing to sprints, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner closely with Scrum teams to ensure the continuous delivery of high-value features that address customer pain points.
  • Advocate for iterative development and leverage continuous feedback to improve product quality and usability.

  • User-Centered Design and Research

  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and market analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.
  • Use data insights and customer feedback to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Promote user-centric design principles to deliver intuitive, impactful, and customer-focused solutions.

  • Team Leadership and Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of product managers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of deliverables while providing strategic direction and support.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with technology, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates on product progress, outcomes, and future strategies to senior management and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A degree or equivalent professional experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or a related field.
  • Financial Expertise: Knowledge and interest in how financial advisers and their clients utilise platforms and financial products, along with current insights into Australian and global financial markets.
  • Agile Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in Agile methodologies to support effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Client Focus: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex customer challenges with a proactive, hands-on approach. Passionate about understanding customer needs and how they interact with products.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders, collecting valuable insights, and fostering teamwork to achieve shared goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience in driving initiatives that optimize processes or services, contributing to sustaining or advancing market leadership.
  • Business Excellence: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, effectively balancing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
