Stake is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Accounts & Onboarding to join us at our Bondi Junction HQ, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 WFH).

We’re an Australian investing platform that helps ambitious people confidently grow their wealth. By offering seamless, immersive access to the share markets, we’ve empowered a new wave of investors. Stake has grown fast from a fintech startup into a robust financial services company. Today we have 700,000+ customers and more than A$5 billion under administration.

At Stake, we break barriers in everything we do. Just like our customers, we’re driven by ambition. Our desire for continuous growth is what creates the collaborative and high-performance environment we work in. Though we’re spread around the world, we’re a unified team moving towards a shared vision: to unleash the investor in everyone.

Join us as we continue to reshape the financial industry, inspiring investor confidence and celebrating our wins along the way.

About this role

As a Senior Product Manager - Accounts & Onboarding at Stake, you'll be a pivotal part of our Accounts and Onboarding team, driving the development of our onboarding, account access and management experiences to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

You'll prioritise a smooth, seamless onboarding experience, focusing on customer first outcomes while balancing risk and compliance. By blending methodical execution with empowering the team to dream big and align on a commonly agreed vision; you’ll draw a clear path to get there.

You will be required to:

  • Lead and shape the roadmap for the Account & Onboarding squad, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver game-changing outcomes.
  • Drive the development of Stake’s onboarding and account management experience to be the best in class in retail financial services.
  • Consider the operational workflows that support the onboarding of customers to our products in Australia and New Zealand and how we best support the internal customer in their day to day (our internal teams).
  • Work with risk and compliance to productise our KYC processes for all individuals and account types, prioritising straight through processing.
  • Be data-driven – You are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.
  • Embrace a dynamic and fast-paced environment, championing innovation and striving for ambitious results.

A bit about you

  • You have a passion for problem-solving and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Extensive experience in crafting intuitive UX for mobile and desktop, with a strong customer focus.
  • A proven track record of building successful, customer-centric products, where consideration to risk and compliance processes has been central to execution.
  • You’re not afraid of being a true leader, learning skills you don’t know today to unblock things everywhere needed. You don’t stick to a “by the book” product manager role definition. You get it done.
  • 3-5+ years in tech as a Product Manager, ideally with flow conversion, KYC, Account structures and onboarding experiences.

At Stake, we’re more interested in your attitude than your resume. If you believe this is a role you want to jump into, please apply and let us know why in your cover letter!
